Organization

The event is organized under the aegis of the Association of Italian Sports Centers (ACSI) and the Italian Cycling Federation (FCI - Federciclismo Sicilia) by the SSD GS Mediterraneo PRO and by the ASD Sport and Nutrition Team. This event will be held in compliance with the provisions of the implementing regulations issued for the year 2025 by the ACSI Cycling National Technical Sector and the FCI Off-Road National Technical Sector.

Path

Length: 4.3 km - Difference in altitude: 444 m

A climb with a complete assortment of dirt surfaces, gravel, leaves and dirt with an average gradient of 10%.

The path winds for 4.3 km with a height difference of 444 meters from Piano Zucchi to Piano Battaglia.

This is a time trial of medium difficulty and is therefore accessible to adults and children over 17

Location

Piano Battaglia is located a few kilometers from Palermo, in the heart of the Madonie Park (Geoparco Unesco since 2015), at 1570 m.s.l.m.: A place of rare beauty and wonder immersed in nature and silence in which the fallow and foxes are the protagonists of unexpected surprises.

It is a mountain location that can be used 365 days a year, where you can also find welcome thanks to the presence of the Giuliano Marini refuge, a garrison of the CAI hospitality.

Starting from Piano Battaglia you can take walking, excursions, trekking and cycle tourism between unique landscapes that keep tradition, authenticity, architectures, hidden treasures and countless gastronomic delights.
